According to registry our family was 12th when moved to Elektrenai back in 1963. From the very beginning I was interested in old enginery. In childhood I had an idea to own classic car when I grow up… “Volkswagen” history as manufacturer started from one model… …and this model is one of the most interesting and oldest in automotive industry. Because of that I started to involve into Beetles.
Once I decided to own one my hunt for it started… and you feel like you touch the history as your thoughts travel through the time and you understand how people drove back in the days. Reaction of people is what compensates lack of comfort in this car. They smile, wave and chat when I pull over.
The reaction redeems everything.
